Have you had dreamt about something special or someone particular that you cannot get off your mind up to this day? Well, I had. You may call it weird, but I called it strange. Intruded by a mermaid in a dream was very disturbing! Yes, you heard me right. Mermaid!! Well, for me--it was truly intriguing! Interesting, indeed!!
Shortly after she'd changed herself into a mermaid before my eyes, she told me interesting themes about herself. Would you believe that my weird dream went on for three consecutive nights? She told me more about herself through the third night---from the day she was born to the day she was punished by her father!! Truly a character!!
Then, every morning as I woke up, I would hurriedly turned on my computer before having a breakfast. Started playing my fingers on keyboard...pushing button after button. "This would be quite of a story", I thought.
On the third day, as I finished the last page of the manuscript, I felt like my brain was totally drained out. I slowly sank myself on my favorite ancient recliner, feet resting on the old stool, I read the finished manuscript.
"This will be a special story," I thought with a smile as I folded back the special papers. I put the manuscript aside, got up from my old chair and headed to the kitchen to make a good meal for myself. I had to celebrate it somehow. 
However, on the fourth night when I went to bed I was hoping to see my mermaid friend again. Unfortunately, I dreamt about something else. Nothing about her at all!! I woke up in the middle of the night, and with disappointment I thought, "This is crazy, why am I waiting for her? She's only a fiction in that dream." But truly in my heart, I know she's not just a fiction--she had became my imaginary friend that I will never forget in my entire life. ***
After my book was accepted and published, I then realized that my special friend will never showed up in my dreamland, ever again. Nevertheless, she should be glad that I had her story published for readers whose fond of mermaid stories!!
Anyway, THE ENCHANTED ISLAND book is surely an entertaining story for the entire family!!
